The newest expansion to the Dawn of War universe, Dark crusade is a stand alone expansion to the original. If you buy just the expansion you can play online with every one else, but you can only play the expansion races. Which isn't a bad deal, but if you want to play any of the other 5 races you have to buy the Gold edition of Dawn of War. That addition comes with the original 4 races then the 1st expansion that includes the 5th race.
Been playing this game in the few minutes I have between studying and sleep. Fun game and the expansion changes some things around balancing things out. Any way a good game to consider purchasing, but you will want to shell out the money for both the gold edition and dark crusade, so you have 7 races to choose from.
